Guðjón Idir

Guðjón Idir has been IMMI’s Executive Director since early 2014. His background is in philosophy, psychology and activism. Main interests include information freedom and human rights. He’s worked with refugees in Iceland.

He also dabbles in music.

Eleanor Saitta

Eleanor Saitta volunteered for the role of Technical Director at IMMI in 2012. She does work as a complex systems analyst, looking at the ways those systems fail and redesigning them to fail better, with specific applications in law, policy, computer software, and organizational processes. Eleanor co-founded the Constitutional Analysis Support Team (CAST), is on the advisory board of the humanitarian accelerator Geeks Without Bounds, and works on the Trike threat modeling project and the Briar communications tool. While she has spent some time in Iceland, she is mostly nomadic.
